Pistol Pit Expansion and Safety

Pit 2 is now 25 yards deep

The Pistol Pits have been lengthened to 25 yards. The back berm has been raised to 20 feet. The entire surface has had small material added to eliminate ricochets and increased safety. Railroad ties were added around the base to make a clean transition to the berms. The railroad ties also have permanent sockets for target sticks eliminating stands that can be hit with snow removal equipment. The steal targets have level ground behind the railroad ties to keep them from destroying any wood stands with lead splash. Range distance numbers have been added to both sides for convenience. New road mix has been compacted for the a clean shooting environment. This has all been possible with your generous donations.
